Travis Wyman delivered a stunning performance in Race 1 of the 2022 Mission King of the Baggers series at Daytona this past weekend. Placing second on his Harley Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Road Glide, he gave Bilmola USA its first podium appearance at Florida’s iconic banked circuit.

Travis was on the pace from the moment pit lane opened, finishing P2 on the grid after heavy rain cut short the Baggers’ qualifying session.
In dry conditions for the race, Travis launched from the front row to take a convincing early lead from the chasing pack as he flicked his big Harley through the tight infield section. His lead inevitably shrank as the draft came into play on the high banks, but he held onto P1 before missing a gear and running wide into Turn one at the start of lap 2. He recovered quickly, frequently leading the front group, as the eight-lap race turned into an epic slipstreaming battle.
With a perfectly timed move on the final lap, the 30-year-old Las Vegas-based racer came up from third to second place as he crossed the finish line, pulling into a crowd of cheering onlookers.
